Two weekends ago an incredible number of Clarence girls took to the stage in LAC. Miss Collins, Miss Lavender and Miss Ross worked tirelessly alongside dance captains Maddie Dickie and Sacha Thompson and ballet captain Ella Gibbs to perfect this wonderful dance show! Photos of all the Clarence girls who were involved are below.
First up (after the Clarence Academy had warmed up the audience – see video link below) was the Street Dance Company in which Amira, Petch, Sadhbha and Tobi played a huge role …
Next on stage was the Ballet Captain Piece which Ella, along with her vice-captains Anoushka and Hennie, had choreographed together …
The first Modern piece saw Amira, Issy, Maddie, Oriane, Rosanna and Sacha take to the stage …
And their piece was swiftly followed by the GCSE dance group also featuring Maddie, Oriane and Sacha (who must have done a super quick change!) along with Sadhbha as the spooky masked spirits …
Just prior to the interval, the Senior Ballet Company wowed the audience with their Scottish dance piece, this was a wonderful high on which to finish the first half!
Opening the second half were the Advanced Pointe girls and Anoushka, Ella, Hennie, Oriane, Rosanna and Sacha were all in action in this dance, which was a fantastic performance of skill and colour …
Sisters Temi and Tobi were then on stage to perform their winning Choreography Competition piece (they danced with such energy that the pictures are a little blurry!) …
Maddie and Sacha then performed their Dance Captain Piece with the help of Sadhba and Petch and this was swiftly followed by the Advanced Modern group. Amira, Issy, Maddie, Oriane, Petch, Rosanna and Sacha were all in this dance which featured glitzy costumes and a fantastic soundtrack …
Ballet Captain, Ella, stunned the audience with her stage presence and exquisite arms in her Ballet Solo …
The I Dance group contained Rosanna and Chisom. Chisom was new to dancing at Wycombe this year … both girls did a great job in this fun and colourful dance …
To round off a wonderful evening, Advanced Dance took to the stage. Performers from Clarence included Hennie, Maddie, Petch, Sacha and Tobi …
The Finale and thanks closed the show and all that remains to say is a huge well done to everyone involved, not forgetting the very professional and eloquent comperes, Tash and Anna! I thoroughly enjoyed the show – well done girls!
